2009 is finally here!!!
Well, it’s that time of the year again. The roar of the engines is filling the air in Daytona. The NASCAR sprint cup series is ready to kick off another season. And I’m getting ready to humiliate myself again by predicting the winner of every race. Last season I got two whole races right. I picked Jimmie Johnson at Phoenix in the spring, and repeated the exercise in the fall. So on that note, I have a lot of room to improve. Here goes nothing.

Indycars in Australia - for me it was good
I suppose I have been a little lax about telling of my Nikon Indy 300 expereince and now as news comes through that I won't get to see the Indycars there next year, I'm a bit ohhhhh, dang...
I know it is cool not to like the Dallara Honda package but I have never been cool - I like the Dallara Honda package - and I like the Indycar Series. They were fun to photograph, the officials were good and the drivers were great - what more do you need?

YOU GOT TO LOVE THE TIRES
Finally got to watch the dvr race yesterday. There was zero racing at the front but at the tail end there was some great racing! The battle Louise had with the Renaults was a lot of fun to watch.

Well it is qualies day, but that may be a side show to the FIA/FOTA war raging. However it shakes out I just hope Max and Bernie are gone!
